Our Rising Stars programme allows students to grow both technically and personally whilst creating friendships, building confidence, and developing a love for performing arts.
Tap, Ballet & Modern
Tap, Ballet & Modern
(Ages 6–8)
Designed for young dancers ready to further develop their technique, musicality, flexibility, and performance skills across tap, ballet, and modern.
Students build strong dance foundations whilst growing in confidence, discipline, creativity, and teamwork within a supportive and encouraging environment.
Saturdays 9:00–10:30am
Tap, Ballet & Modern
(Ages 9–10)
Supporting dancers as they continue to strengthen their technique, musicality, artistry, and performance quality across tap, ballet, and modern.
Classes focus on developing confidence, discipline, flexibility, and technical ability whilst encouraging students to express themselves creatively in a positive and inspiring environment.
Saturdays 11:15am–12:45pm

Designed for dedicated young performers looking to further refine their technique, strength, flexibility, and artistry across tap, ballet, and modern.
Students are encouraged to develop confidence, performance quality, discipline, and technical excellence whilst continuing to grow creatively in a supportive and motivating environment.

Musical Theatre

(Ages 7–11)
A dynamic and engaging class combining singing, dancing, and acting to help young performers build confidence, creativity, and stage presence.
Students develop performance skills, teamwork, expression, and storytelling whilst working towards exciting performances, shows, and examination opportunities in a fun and supportive environment.
Mondays 5:15–6:45pm
Street Dance

(Ages 7–11)
Energetic and upbeat street dance classes designed to develop confidence, coordination, rhythm, and performance skills through exciting choreography and music.
Students build technique, musicality, style, and teamwork whilst expressing themselves creatively in a fun, supportive, and motivating environment.
Thursdays 6:00–6:45pm
Acrobatics
🤸♂️Acrobatics
(Ages 8–11)
A fun and challenging acrobatics class focusing on flexibility, strength, balance, control, and tumbling skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Students develop confidence, coordination, technique, and body awareness whilst progressing through structured acro skills and creative movement combinations.
Saturdays 2:15–3:00pm

"My daughter has been coming to Nicholsons since she was 3 years old (7 years now), every teacher that has interacted with my daughter is extremely knowledgeable and I can honestly say the improvement in my daughter's ability over the last 7 years is absolutly incredible. My daughter does tap, ballet and modern as well as acro class and competition classes which she competes with her troupe in.
Watching our children in the shows makes you burst with pride for all the children, it's like a big family and everyone talks to everyone, the older girls look put for the you get girls and the younger girls look up to them.
The dances are incredible and well thought out and every teacher shows such care towards each child and their abilities and pushes them to what they know they can do.

An important thing to consider when choosing a dance school is the qualifications of the instructors. It is vital!
At TNA, all instructors are fully qualified and continue to push themselves to achieve more with all the certs and updates.

"My little boy (3) has been attending TNA since just after just 1st birthday and will soon be turning 4. He does the lil Beatz dance class and he attends musical theatre. He loves attending Dance and Drama each week and has made lots of friends.
He adores all the staff and has a good relationship with some of the girls in the older classes too. My son has a lot of energy and attending these classes has helped him learn positive ways to Chanel that energy and his listening ears have improved massively.

Faq's
Can my child try a class before enrolling?
Absolutely! We offer free trial classes every week. Just book online or give us a call.
What should my child wear to class?
Comfy clothes they can move in! Barefoot or sneakers are fine for most beginner classes.
Do you hold performances or showcases?
Yes! We host an end-of-year showcase and perform at several community events throughout the year.
